Nanda, married at the age of 14, is now a single mother of 26. She arrived at the orphanage following the death of her husband since she could no longer support herself and her two young daughters.

Bibechana’s mother remarried after the death of her father, leaving the 14 year old to look after her little brother and sister who were only 1 and 3 at the time. Now 8 years later she is still with us.

Bikash, 24, is the oldest of three children. He is the founder of Meg’s Children’s home. He has devoted the last two years of his life to helping the children. In the future he hopes to find time to further his education by studying child psychology.
