Our goal
To support the upbringing of vulnerable and at-risk children in Nepal, by providing for their daily living needs and meeting their right to education.
Trish had volunteered in an existing orphanage in Nepal and discovered its corrupt administration, poor facilities and persistent health problems.
Upon returning home Trish focused her efforts on rescuing the children from the exploitation and deprivation that they were facing. This then led to the creation of Meg’s Children Nepal.
Since then, Meg’s Children has grown and progressed to provide care and support to Nepalese children to help them grow, learn and achieve their ambitions.
We have three programs that support the children in our care: accommodation in Noble House; support through the Outreach Program; and Tertiary Education loans.
All the children who live in Noble House attend the local Bal Vikash school, which ensures that they receive quality primary and secondary education.
The Outreach Program provides financial support to disadvantaged children living with their families to help cover education costs.
Financial loans towards Tertiary Education help our older children to develop their careers through university or post-school studies.

Bronze
$20 per month or $240 annually.
$240 is equivalent to providing a child with food or schooling for 6 months.
Silver
$40 per month or $480 annually.
$480 is equivalent to providing a child with food or schooling for 1 year.
Gold
$80 per month or $960 annually.
$960 is equivalent to providing a child with food and schooling for 1 year.
Platinum
$2,500 per annum.
$2,500 is equivalent to covering a child’s total living costs in Noble House for 1 year.
